Sony is on a journey to zero waste\, so we encourage you to visit our waste-sustainability open house at lunch in the café and learn how to help! \nIn the next 30 years\, it is predicted that our oceans will contain more plastic waste than fish and given only 9% of plastic actually gets recycled it’s time we do something radical. \nWe can’t achieve zero waste without your support so we hope you’ll stop by to learn more\, ask questions\, and get involved with our fight against waste.

SUMMARY:Healthy Kids in the Sony Kitchen: Hands-on Cooking with Vibrant Fruits and Vegetables
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, June 26th 9:30am – 11:30am in Dine \nBon Appétit would like to invite Sony’s elementary school-aged children in grades K-5 to join us for a two-hour workshop featuring activities in healthy eating and cooking. \nIn this fun and interactive program\, our chefs and educators will demonstrate how whole fruits and vegetables can be transformed into a healthy meal which we will enjoy in a “Healthy Kids Picnic” on the patio. You are welcome to stay with your child and observe class or you can find a workstation in the café; however\, please keep in mind parents must stay in the café vicinity. \nBy learning about the connection between the ways we eat and the ability to do what we enjoy\, children will go home with a newfound power to make better food choices for their health. \nThis workshop is free but space is limited; please register at www.tinyurl.com/SonyHealthyKids.

Coffee from organic\, shade-grown beans will be brewing at the free coffee station beginning Thursday\, June 27th\, 2019.
